the year in review

2011 was a heck of a year--life changing. As I'm reflecting on it, here are some of the highlights of the year.

January--I started teaching Foundations English 101 at BYU-Idaho. Long cold winter.

February--Missed Natalie. Played Mass Effect 2. Lack of fiancee=not fun. Game=fun. Don't get me wrong, the game was not a good substitute. But it made up for some of the long parts of the day when time zone differences made it hard to communicate.

March

April--Visited Boston for the first time after going to USA Dance Nationals in Baltimore. I can't tell you how good it was to see Natalie again. I missed her so much.

May--The quickest/longest month ever. When Natalie returned to Rexburg at the end of April, we had less than a month to plan the wedding. I think the biggest stress was the weather. That variable we couldn't control and had to rely purely on God. But leave that to God to take care of. The trees transformed almost overnight. One day the trees stood devoid of life, the next day leaves burgeoned. Seasons in Idaho lack transitions.

 June--First month of married life.

 July--Canada day and America day.

August--Packing up and moving. Before we moved we had some down time.We hung out with Chad. We visited Natalie's Grandparents.

September--Big changes. We trekked across the country to our new home in Boston.

the second escape

Basically, my new blog. I want to get into blogging again. I have a few reasons, but mainly I want to get into a good habit of writing daily.
